في عام 1926، وداخل المجتمع السري للسحرة في مدينة نيويورك ، يحضر الكاتب (نيوت سكاماندر) اجتماعًا في الولايات المتحدة مع مسئول رسمي بغرض مناقشة تداعيات خروج العديد من المخلوقات السحرية من حقيبة سحرية، مهددين عالم السحرة وعالم العوام معه، يجتمع مجموعة من السحرة بهدف مواجهة تلك التهديدات الخطيرة والحفاظ على الأمن العام للمجتمعين.
